    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Sunil Kumar of JDU won in this constituency beating Jitendra Paswan of CPIMLL by a margin of 462 votes which was 0.25% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Anil Kumar of INC was the winner in this seat beating Indradev Manjhi of BJP by a margin of 14871 votes which was 8.86% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Idradeo Majhi of BJP won this seat defeating Bachchan Das of RJD by a margin of 43570 votes which was 36.37% of the total votes polled for the seat.
