    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Lalit Kumar Yadav of RJD won in this constituency beating Faraz Fatmi of JDU by a margin of 2141 votes which was 1.36% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Lalit Kumar Yadav of RJD was the winner in this seat beating Naushad Ahmad of HAMS by a margin of 34491 votes which was 25.12% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Lalit Kumar Yadav of RJD won this seat defeating Ashraf Hussain of JDU by a margin of 3676 votes which was 3.61% of the total votes polled for the seat.
