    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Tej Pratap Yadav of RJD won in this constituency beating Raj Kumar Ray of JDU by a margin of 21139 votes which was 12.34% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Raj Kumar Ray of JDU was the winner in this seat beating Vinod Choudhary of BLSP by a margin of 29600 votes which was 20.17% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Raj Kumar Ray of JDU won this seat defeating Sunil Kumar Puspam of RJD by a margin of 3291 votes which was 2.82% of the total votes polled for the seat.
