    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Manoj Kumar Yadav of RJD won in this constituency beating Sachindra Prasad Singh of BJP by a margin of 1193 votes which was 0.74% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Sachindra Prasad Singh of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Razia Khatoon of JDU by a margin of 11488 votes which was 8.48% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Razia Khatoon of JDU won this seat defeating Manoj Kumar Yadav of RJD by a margin of 15402 votes which was 15.9% of the total votes polled for the seat.
