    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Chhatrapati Yadav of INC won in this constituency beating Poonam Devi Yadav of JDU by a margin of 3000 votes which was 1.99% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Poonam Devi Yadav of JDU was the winner in this seat beating Rajesh Kumar Urf Rohit Kumar of HAMS by a margin of 25565 votes which was 18.33% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Poonam Devi Yadav of JDU won this seat defeating Sushila Devi of LJP by a margin of 26853 votes which was 23.59% of the total votes polled for the seat.
