    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Anil Kumar Sahni of RJD won in this constituency beating Kedar Prasad Gupta of BJP by a margin of 712 votes which was 0.36% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Kedar Prasad Gupta of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Manoj Kumar Singh of JDU by a margin of 11570 votes which was 6.69% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Manoj Kumar Singh of JDU won this seat defeating Bijendra Chaudhary of LJP by a margin of 1570 votes which was 1.21% of the total votes polled for the seat.
