    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Vijay Kumar Khemka of BJP won in this constituency beating Indu Sinha of INC by a margin of 32154 votes which was 17.36% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Vijay Kumar Khemka of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Indu Sinha of INC by a margin of 32815 votes which was 17.57% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Raj Kishore Keshari of BJP won this seat defeating of INC by a margin of 15599 votes which was 11.83% of the total votes polled for the seat.
