    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Mohammad Nehaluddin of RJD won in this constituency beating Pramod Kumar Singh of IND by a margin of 9429 votes which was 5.1% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Ashok Kumar Singh of JDU was the winner in this seat beating Pramod Kumar Singh of LJP by a margin of 9525 votes which was 5.98% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Ashok Kumar Singh of JDU won this seat defeating Mohammad Nehaluddin of RJD by a margin of 23685 votes which was 20.07% of the total votes polled for the seat.
