    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Achmit Rishidev of JDU won in this constituency beating Avinash Manglam of RJD by a margin of 2304 votes which was 1.24% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Achmit Rishidev of JDU was the winner in this seat beating Ramji Das Rishidev of BJP by a margin of 14930 votes which was 9.25% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Parmanand Rishideo of BJP won this seat defeating Shanti Devi of RJD by a margin of 23653 votes which was 18.03% of the total votes polled for the seat.
