    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Mewa Lal Choudhary of JDU won in this constituency beating Divya Prakash of RJD by a margin of 7225 votes which was 4.14% of the total votes cast. In 2015, M L Choudhary of JDU was the winner in this seat beating Sakuni Choudhary of HAMS by a margin of 11947 votes which was 7.85% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Neeta Choudhary of JDU won this seat defeating Shakuni Choudhary of RJD by a margin of 13878 votes which was 11.65% of the total votes polled for the seat.
