In 2015, Veena Bharti of JDU was the winner in this seat beating Anant Kumar Bharti of LJP by a margin of 52400 votes which was 33.54% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Amla Devi of JDU won this seat defeating Anant Kumar Bharti of LJP by a margin of 19023 votes which was 14.61% of the total votes polled for the seat.
