    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Mishri Lal Yadav of VSIP won in this constituency beating Binod Mishra of RJD by a margin of 3101 votes which was 1.96% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Abdul Bari Siddiqui of RJD was the winner in this seat beating Mishri Lal Yadav of BJP by a margin of 13460 votes which was 9.64% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Abdul Bari Siddiqui of RJD won this seat defeating Prabhakar Choudhary of JDU by a margin of 4989 votes which was 4.9% of the total votes polled for the seat.
