    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Panna Lal Singh Patel of JDU won in this constituency beating Chandan Kumar Alias Dr. Chandan Yadav of INC by a margin of 5108 votes which was 2.89% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Panna Lal Singh Patel of JDU was the winner in this seat beating Mithilesh Kumar Nishad of LJP by a margin of 13525 votes which was 8.09% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Pannalal Singh "Patel" of JDU won this seat defeating Sunita Sharma of LJP by a margin of 15738 votes which was 11.84% of the total votes polled for the seat.
