    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Satyadeo Ram of CPIMLL won in this constituency beating Ramayan Manjhi of BJP by a margin of 12119 votes which was 7.55% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Satyadeo Ram of CPIMLL was the winner in this seat beating Ramayan Manjhi of BJP by a margin of 9584 votes which was 6.49% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Ramayan Manjhi of BJP won this seat defeating Satyadeo Ram of CPIMLL by a margin of 7006 votes which was 5.99% of the total votes polled for the seat.
