    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Phate Bahadur Singh of RJD won in this constituency beating Satyanarayan Singh of BJP by a margin of 464 votes which was 0.3% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Mohammad Iliyas Hussain of RJD was the winner in this seat beating Jitendra Kumar @ Rinku Soni of BLSP by a margin of 3898 votes which was 2.68% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Jyoti Rashmi of IND won this seat defeating Mohammad Iliyas Husain of RJD by a margin of 9815 votes which was 7.94% of the total votes polled for the seat.
