In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Hari Narayan Singh of JDU won in this constituency beating Mamta Devi of LJP by a margin of 27241 votes which was 17.18% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Hari Narayan Singh of JDU was the winner in this seat beating Arun Kumar of LJP by a margin of 14295 votes which was 9.12% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Harinarayan Singh of JDU won this seat defeating Arun Kumar of LJP by a margin of 15042 votes which was 12.52% of the total votes polled for the seat.
