    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Krishnanandan Paswan of BJP won in this constituency beating Kumar Nagendra Bihari of RJD by a margin of 15685 votes which was 9.22% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Rajendra Kumar of RJD was the winner in this seat beating Krishnandan Paswan of BJP by a margin of 10267 votes which was 6.81% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Krishana Nandan Paswan of BJP won this seat defeating Surendra Kumar Chandra Alias Satish Paswan of RJD by a margin of 18064 votes which was 17.59% of the total votes polled for the seat.
