    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Krishnamurari Sharan Urf Prem Mukhiya of JDU won in this constituency beating Atri Muni Urf Shakti Singh Yadav of RJD by a margin of 12 votes which was 0.01% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Atri Muni Urph Shakti Singh Yadav of RJD was the winner in this seat beating Deepika Kumari of LJP by a margin of 26076 votes which was 17.44% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Usha Sinha of JDU won this seat defeating Rina Devi of LJP by a margin of 13202 votes which was 10.47% of the total votes polled for the seat.
