    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Nitu Kumari of INC won in this constituency beating Anil Singh of BJP by a margin of 17091 votes which was 8.97% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Anil Singh of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Kaushal Yadav of JDU by a margin of 12239 votes which was 6.64% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Anil Singh of BJP won this seat defeating Anil Mehta of LJP by a margin of 3978 votes which was 3.2% of the total votes polled for the seat.
