    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Satish Kumar of RJD won in this constituency beating Devendra Kumar of HAMS by a margin of 22565 votes which was 16.4% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Subedar Das of RJD was the winner in this seat beating Jitan Ram Manjhi of HAMS by a margin of 26777 votes which was 20.56% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Jitan Ram Manjhi of JDU won this seat defeating Dharmraj Paswan of RJD by a margin of 5085 votes which was 5.64% of the total votes polled for the seat.
