    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Rekha Devi of RJD won in this constituency beating Nutan Paswan of JDU by a margin of 32227 votes which was 16.39% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Rekha Devi (Vill- Pabheda) of RJD was the winner in this seat beating Nutan Paswan of HAMS by a margin of 39186 votes which was 21.09% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Arun Manjhi of JDU won this seat defeating Anil Kumar of LJP by a margin of 5032 votes which was 3.53% of the total votes polled for the seat.
