    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Rajeev Kumar of RJD won in this constituency beating Manoj Kumar of JDU by a margin of 15512 votes which was 8.66% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Rajeev Kumar Urf Munna Yadav of RJD was the winner in this seat beating Ajay Kumar of BJP by a margin of 23940 votes which was 14.7% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Dinesh Prasad of JDU won this seat defeating Rajeev Kumar Urph Munna Yadav of RJD by a margin of 5402 votes which was 4.35% of the total votes polled for the seat.
