    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Kaushal Kishore of JDU won in this constituency beating Ravi Joyti Kumar of INC by a margin of 16048 votes which was 10.17% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Ravi Jyoti Kumar of JDU was the winner in this seat beating Satydeo Narain Arya of BJP by a margin of 5390 votes which was 3.63% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Satyadeo Narain Arya of BJP won this seat defeating Dhananjay Kumar of LJP by a margin of 26951 votes which was 26.47% of the total votes polled for the seat.
