    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Satanand Sambuddha @Lalan of RJD won in this constituency beating Shashikant Kumar Shashi Alias Amar Kumar Singh of JDU by a margin of 14225 votes which was 9.09% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Shreenarayan Yadav of RJD was the winner in this seat beating M D Aslam of LJP by a margin of 45474 votes which was 33.21% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Parveen Amanullah of JDU won this seat defeating Shreenarayan Yadav of RJD by a margin of 11111 votes which was 10.29% of the total votes polled for the seat.
