    In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Mithilesh Kumar of BJP won in this constituency beating Sunil Kumar of RJD by a margin of 11475 votes which was 6.35% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Sunil Kumar of RJD was the winner in this seat beating Sunil Kumar Alias Pintu of BJP by a margin of 14722 votes which was 8.96% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Sunil Kumar Alias Pintu of BJP won this seat defeating Raghwendra Kumar Singh of LJP by a margin of 5221 votes which was 4.4% of the total votes polled for the seat.
