In 2015, Ratnesh Sada of JDU was the winner in this seat beating Sarita Devi of LJP by a margin of 53763 votes which was 36.12% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Ratnesh Sada of JDU won this seat defeating Sarita Devi of LJP by a margin of 31445 votes which was 26.3% of the total votes polled for the seat.
